Bohemian Nights 2017 | Weston Scholarship Fundraising Dinner

  • Gina and Kim Weston's home 251 HWY 1 Carmel, CA 93923 United States (map)

The Event Has Sold Out!

Join us for a magical evening at Wildcat...

During Edward Weston's time on Wildcat Hill, his home was known as the "little house with the big mood." Edward and his pals spent many nights whooping it up, sharing meals, dancing, reading poetry and admiring each other's work. Legends like Ansel Adams, Ruth Bernhard, Imogen Cunningham and Dorothea Lange were frequent visitors and we like to believe they make a special appearance for our favorite event of the year: Bohemian Nights.

Imagine Edward waking up before dawn to get in the darkroom to process his negatives and create the images that have made him one of America's most well-recognized photographers of all time. Now, imagine walking through that same darkroom, preserved in its entirety to this day, alongside the palpable memory of the artist who called it home. We hope you will join us to experience the rich and bountiful history of Wildcat Hill while supporting black and white film photography students in Monterey County.

La Balena, voted best restaurant in Carmel and Monterey County's hottest new restaurant by Zagat and SF Gate, will be catering this year! We couldn't be more excited to welcome Emanuele and Anna Bartolini the Weston Collective family. Bohemian Nights will be an exclusive event featuring fine dining, wine, photography (of course), and entertainment in Edward's former home, we hope you'll join us!

Every ticket holder will go home with an original print by Kim Weston or Roman Loranc!

All proceeds allow The Weston Collective, a 501(c)3 corporation, to award scholarships to local high school and college students in Monterey County practicing black and white film photography.
