Internship Program

The Weston Collective's Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts and aspiring educators to gain hands-on experience by supporting student learning in both digital and traditional photography environments. Interns play a key role in our mission to make photography accessible and engaging for youth by working directly with middle and high school students during our programs.

Through this internship, participants will assist with various aspects of photographic instruction, including helping students understand camera functions, guiding them in composition techniques, and supporting them with file transfers and digital editing. Interns are encouraged to share their own creative insights while reinforcing the fundamentals of visual storytelling and technical craftsmanship.

This program is ideal for individuals interested in arts education, mentorship, and photographic practice. Interns will walk away with meaningful experience in youth arts instruction, as well as a deeper understanding of how photography can be used to build confidence, creativity, and connection. The Weston Collective is proud to offer this internship as a way to nurture the next generation of educators, artists, and advocates for the photographic arts.

Weston Collective Interns will gain experience in a unique setting and acquire skills to be better applicants. These include:
