Instructions
Please fill out the form, pay the $25 entry fee and then submit one to three images in accordance with the category selected in the form to contest@thewestoncollective.org. Save your images as your last name-firstname-#. Your files must be JPEG and the largest side saved at 2048px.
Once the entry window has closed, the images will be anonymously judged by Kim Weston with winners being notified after. The three top photographs in each category will win a $100 gift card from Freestyle Photographic Supplies! There will be 20 images selected (including the top 3 winners), which will be showcased in an online gallery and used on our social media platforms.
Rules and Regulations
Submission Dates: June 3, 2017 - September 1, 2017
Number of Images: 1-3
Image Requirements: They must be black and white, and they can be film or digitally captured
Image Sizing: The longest side must be 2048 pixels long and not larger
File Format: JPEG
Image Labeling: Label with your first and last name and corresponding number (i.e firstnam-lastname-1.jpg, firstname-lastname-2.jpg)
Entry Fee: $25
All proceeds from this competition will go toward The Weston Collective and will help continue the traditional process of black and white film photography alive in Monterey County.

Judge
Kim weston
Kim has been a fine art nude photographer for over 30 years. He is a third-generation member of one of the most important and creative families in photography. His photographs have been widely collected and exhibited in the US and worldwide. Kim and his wife, Gina, live at Wildcat Hill, the former home of Edward Weston where they specialize in teaching several unique photography workshops throughout the year.
Kim and Gina established the Weston Collective in 2004 to keep traditional black and white film photography alive in Monterey County
