Come Support Our Photographic Youth!

We are thrilled to announce that we were awarded a grant from the Arts Council for Monterey County! This grant will allow us to start a program with 4th and 5th graders of Martin Luther King Jr. School of the Arts, where they will learn the process of black and white film photography! 

There is a new drop off location for the 2018 Weston Scholarship Competition! It is no longer at Monterey Peninsula College!

The deadline for submissions to the Weston Collective's scholarship competition is right around the corner! We are very excited to see the work created by our students this year. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding submission and be sure that you have completed everything in the checklist below. Good luck during the final stretch! 

Kim started with a history lesson of the house. There are so many details and stories that a whole semester could be dedicated to the small home! The students were very attentive and interested on how simple Edward lived and how we was able to create such stunning photographs. 

The first ever student print review at The Center for Photographic Art was a major success! We had a small, intimate group of participants that received high quality feedback on their portfolios from Kim and Zach Weston. It was a treat to see the enthusiasm and passion these young photographers have for the art of silver gelatin photography. Their work was outstanding!
